Ingredients

  • 2 tbsp unsalted butter
  • 1 ripe banana, sliced into ½-inch rounds
  • 6 Terra Delyssa Organic Pitted Deglet Noor Dates, halved lengthwise
  • 1 tsp ground cinnamon
  • 3 scoops vanilla ice cream
  • Terra Delyssa Organic Extra Virgin Olive Oil, for drizzling
  • Flaky sea salt, to finish

Instructions

  1. In a medium pan over medium-low heat, melt the butter until foamy.
  2. Add banana slices, halved dates, and cinnamon. Gently toss to coat.
  3. Cook for 5–6 minutes, flipping occasionally, until bananas caramelize and dates are golden and soft.
  4. Scoop vanilla ice cream into two bowls.
  5. Top each with the warm caramelized banana and date mixture.
  6. Drizzle with Terra Delyssa Organic Extra Virgin Olive Oil.
  7. Finish with a sprinkle of flaky salt. Serve immediately.
